Sara joined Fadiga and Co Solicitors in March 2015 as a Caseworker in the Immigration department.
She read law at London South Bank University and is currently undertaking the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.
Prior to joining Fadiga and Co Solicitors Sara worked for a high street law practice. Sara has also worked at Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton, advising clients on housing, welfare benefits and immigration matters.
Whilst completing her LLB Sara worked for Mizan International, where she gained experience in dealing with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 4 applications under the Points Based System. In August 2016, Sara successfully passed the Law Society’s Asylum /Immigration accreditation examination, and is now a Level Two accredited Senior Caseworker. Sara has an enhanced CRB status which permits her to represent vulnerable individuals in relation to their immigration matter such as unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
Sara recently received funding from the National Lottery and Comic Relief in order to undertake research in relation to refugees and asylum seekers. Sara researched the percentage of African women that claim asylum in the UK based on Female Genital Mutilation that are subsequently granted leave to remain in the UK. Sara has also received a scholarship from the University of East London to complete an LMM in Human Rights which she hopes to start in January 2016
Sara is fluent in both Farsi, Dari and speaks basic French.
In her spare time Sara likes to travel and participate in organised charity events.
