Duduzile Moyo


Duduzile joined Fadiga and Co as a Senior Immigration Caseworker in the Immigration, Detention and Public Law Team at the Stratford Office of Fadiga and Co Solicitors in May 2016. Duduzile is accredited as a Level two Senior Immigration Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum accreditation Scheme.

Duduzile has a strong commitment to human rights and previously worked in human rights facing charities, such as Refugee Council, Barnardos, Refugee Action and Africare. Duduzile volunteered in the Article 8 Deportation Project at Bail for Immigration Detainees for two years prior to working in a human rights law firm in London. Duduzile is a founding member and former trustee of the Asylum Support Appeals Project and was previously casework manager and deputy director at Redbridge Refugee Forum (now RAMFEL). Duduzile has extensive knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable clients and works with a high level of integrity. She works tirelessly for the benefit of her clients and is fluent in Zulu and Ndebele and has a working knowledge of Shona.

Duduzile graduated from the Legal Practice Course at London Metropolitan University with a commendation and graduated from London Metropolitan University with the Graduate Diploma in Law (Masters) with a commendation. Duduzile was a finalist in the Lady Oliver Mooting Cup in front of Lord Walker of Gestingthorpe, former Justice of the Supreme Court and was commended by Lord Walker for excellent advocacy skills. Due to her commitment and passion for human rights, Duduzile attained a Master’s of Law specialising in Human Rights and the International Criminal Court. Duduzile also has a Master’s degree in Service Redesign and Commissioning from Oxford Brookes University. Duduzile’s first degree was in Journalism and she is a former music journalist. Duduzile is a member of The Honorable Society of Middle Temple, Junior Lawyers Division, Young Legal Aid Lawyers, The Prison Reform Trust, and Human Rights Lawyers Association. Duduzile previously worked in commissioning and procurement at major charities in the UK and South Africa. Her personal interests include travelling, reading, cooking and music.
