Charles Otoo-Mensah


Charles joined Fadiga & Co in 2018 having completed his postgraduate diploma in legal practice.
Charles is a specialist in human rights and immigration law and has several years of experience in all areas of human rights/immigration law.
Charles successfully undertook his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Moorgate. Prior to this he obtained a BA (HONS) business administration degree at Thames Valley University in London and subsequently studied at the London Southbank University where he successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and further went on to obtain a Master’s degree in law (LLM) Legal Studies from the same university.
Charles have extensive experience in working with a wide range of vulnerable clients, including minors and victims of torture, victims of domestic violence and victims of trafficking. His practice extends to challenging decisions made by the Secretary of State for the Home Department in the form of appeals and litigation through Judicial Review.
Charles has a wide knowledge in immigration/human rights law and is experienced to deal with matters such as entry clearance/refugee family reunion applications, further leave, “outside of the rules” and settlement applications, British nationality applications, applications involving EEA nationals and their family members, detained casework (Fast-Track/Non Fast-Track), bail applications, and appeals. He also has experience in family and employment law.
Charles is qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Senior Accredited Caseworker which allows him to specialise in Immigration and Nationality Law and provide specialist legal advice for publicly/privately funded work.
In his spare time Charles enjoys taking part in various sporting activities, reading and travelling.
